Mentoring at Med Uni Innsbruck

Mentoring plays a key role in fostering young talent and supporting career development at the Medical University of Innsbruck. By engaging with experienced researchers, early-career scientists receive valuable guidance, personalized support, and practical insights for their professional and personal growth. Our mentoring programs are designed for different career stages, helping participants unlock their potential, expand their networks, and pave the way toward a successful scientific career.

- mentoring in small groups (up to 5 Mentees per group)

Target Group: Clinical PhD students (R1)
Language: German & English
Format:
- mentoring in small groups 
- Start: Each winter semester 
- Duration: 2 semesters, a total of 4 meetings, 2 hours each

Helene Wastl Medical Mentoring Program
Target Group: Female physicians in specialist training, postdoctoral researchers, participants in postgraduate programs (PhDs), and habilitation candidates
Language: German
Format:
- 1:1 mentoring 
- Start: Each winter semester (application deadline applies) 
- Duration: 2 semesters, a total of 6 meetings, 2 hours each, with accompanying seminar program
