The Department of Research Services organises training courses for scientists at the Medical University of Innsbruck in the field of “transferable skills”. Young scientists in particular are supported in their further research and professional activities. In addition, advanced training courses are also organised, which are targeted towards all scientists at the Medical University of Innsbruck.

Other continuing education provisions at MUI:
At the Medical University of Innsbruck, the Clinical Studies Competence Centre (KKS), the Lifelong Learning Unit, the Women’s Empowerment & Mentoring Unit, and the Gender Research and Teaching Unit also offer numerous training courses.
- The KKS (Clinical Studies Competence Centre) organises training and continuing education for staff who work in the field of patient-oriented clinical research.
- The events, courses and training programmes in the field of Lifelong Learning at MUI are aimed at all who are actively seeking information and wish to continue and further their education.
- The Unit for Women’s Empowerment and Mentoring offers numerous in-house seminars, workshops, information and discussion events for all (junior) scientists at MUI, where teaching and training is provided in key competences and career-related soft skills.
- Since 2006, the Department of Gender Studies and Teaching has organised an interdisciplinary lecture series on “Gender Medicine: Gender Research in Medicine” with internationally renowned experts. The lecture series is open to the public.
