Most microscopes are located at the Biocenter/CCB (Innrain 80-82, room n° M01.370 and M01.381 free access 24/7 for MUI rsp. LFUI members with their staff chip cards), the 2 Photon microscope at the Institute of Physiology (, Schöpfstraße 41, room n° 060, appointment to be made with Kai Kummer, phone 70894, kai.kummer@i-med.ac.at)
Flow Cytometric Equipment (FACS) at CCB –access has to be activated on the staff card first

• Introduction in general use of the Microscopes is mandatory for first time users, but free of charge(after registration via the booking system)
• Introduction in editing software Huygens and Imaris
• Guidance for experiment planning and/or interpretation of results
• The fees for autonomous use oft he microscopes can be found below
• IMPORTANT: no analyses allowed for substances with a biosafety level higher than S1
